GOLF IN VALDINIEVOLE – 9 KM FROM MONTECATINI TERME
Montecatini golf, an 18-hole course of 5857 meters par 72, is located in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, in Monsummano Terme, in Valdinievole.
Born on the estate owned by an ancient family, it is a place with magnificent panoramas and irrepressible beauty both for the varied and luxuriant vegetation and for the historical and cultural cues. The course follows the conformation of the gentle undulations of the Tuscan hills and features some holes of extraordinary technical and scenic attraction.
The first nine holes feature olive trees that mark the delicate dog legs of the fairways and the edges of the course. The back nine are immersed in the Mediterranean scrub while the colors and scents of heather, broom and laurel frame them. Two lakes, positioned on the course, make the game even more challenging.
The greens are very fast and characterized by challenging slopes that put the players’ skills to the test. A game path, therefore, that always requires the utmost attention, such as not to generate addiction and to always reserve new gaming experiences and emotions. Finally, the Club House, born on Etruscan and Roman settlements dating back to before the year 1000, it has been restored respecting its historical structure and is in full harmony with the surrounding landscape.
